Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
Admissions & Eligibility
Our programmes are open to Pakistani nationals who have completed at least Matric (Grade 10). Some advanced IT courses may require basic familiarity with computers. There is no upper age limit — we welcome career changers and experienced workers seeking formal certification as well as fresh graduates.
You will need a copy of your CNIC (or B-Form if under 18), your most recent educational certificate, one recent passport-size photograph, and a completed enrolment form. For some courses, a brief entry interview or aptitude check may be conducted to ensure the programme is the right fit for you.
Absolutely. X-World Education & Practical Skills Development Center (Private) Limited is an equal-opportunity institution. All IT track courses, other courses and several Technical track programmes are well-suited for women. We are committed to creating a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment at all our campuses.
Concurrent enrollment in two courses is considered on a case-by-case basis and is only permitted where timetables do not conflict. We generally advise completing one programme before beginning another to ensure maximum learning quality and practical engagement.
Fees, Payments & Financial Support
Course fees vary by duration and track. Please contact our admissions office for the current fee schedule. Fees cover tuition, lab usage, course materials, and certification costs. We are committed to keeping fees accessible to working-class and middle-income families.
Yes. Flexible payment plans are available for eligible students. Typically, a portion of the fee is due at registration, and the remainder may be spread across the course duration. Please discuss your situation with our admissions team — we will always try to find a workable arrangement.
We periodically partner with government skills development bodies and donor programmes to offer subsidised or fully funded seats. We encourage interested students to enquire at registration about any active schemes. Meritorious students may also be considered for internal fee concessions.
Courses & Curriculum
CBT (Competency-Based Training) programmes are assessed against industry-defined skill standards rather than classroom-only exams. Assessment includes practical tasks, tool-handling checklists, and demonstrations — producing graduates who can prove their ability to do the job, not just pass a written test. CBT certificates are widely recognised by international employers.
Course durations range from 1 month to 6 months. Most 3-month programmes run on a rolling intake schedule. Batch start dates are announced on our website and social media. Contact our admissions office for the next available intake.
No. We provide all required equipment — PCs, software, workshop tools, and safety PPE — during class sessions. For IT courses, students may optionally bring personal laptops to practise outside class hours. Technical workshop tools remain on campus for safety and quality-control reasons.
Yes — hands-on practice is central to every course. Technical students work on dedicated demo boards, real machinery, and simulation kits. IT students build live portfolio projects, configure actual network equipment, and work in a fully operational PC lab. Same with other courses. Assessment itself is practical, not theoretical only.
Certification & Career
Graduates receive an X-World Education & Practical Skills Development Center (Private) Limited completion certificate specifying the course, duration, and assessment outcomes. CBT-pathway courses carry additional competency records. We are working towards affiliation with NAVTTC and other national/international awarding bodies. Certificate validity and recognition details are shared at enrollment.
We provide career guidance and facilitate connections with verified recruitment partners for students pursuing overseas opportunities in the Middle East, Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. We do not charge placement fees. Final job offers and visa processing are the responsibility of the employer and relevant authorities. We advise all students to verify any recruitment agent independently.
Students who do not pass a practical assessment on the first attempt are offered one reassessment opportunity within the batch period. Persistent attendance is required — a minimum 75% attendance rate is necessary to sit for the final assessment and receive a certificate. Students with genuine medical or emergency absences should notify the administration promptly.
Refund eligibility depends on the timing of withdrawal. Withdrawals before the course commencement date qualify for a full fee refund, less an administrative charge. Withdrawals within the first week may receive a partial refund. No refund is issued after the first week of instruction. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the administration office. Also, many of our courses are free.
